For over 30 years, Dr. Lynn Pierri has fulfilled numerous academic and clinical appointments, co-authored six publications, maintained memberships in several professional societies, and attended nearly two dozen continuing education courses on topics ranging from medical risk assessment to surgical orthodontics to osseointegrated implants. Dr. Pierri also has received honors and awards from a number of organizations for her academic strides and her service to the community.
Dr. Pierri completed her medical degree at University Health Sciences of Antigua in the West Indies and received her DDS from the State University of New York (SUNY) at Stony Brook. Prior to her graduate studies, she received an MS in Microbiology from C.W. Post University in New York as well as training as a General Dental Laboratory Technician at the New York School of Mechanical Dentistry. Dr. Pierri’s post-graduate work included a fellowship in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh in Scotland followed by a residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Bellevue Hospital Center, New York University.
